Abstract

The Fuel Management Task Team (FMTT) is a national community of wildfire practitioners with a mandate to improve the practice of forest fuel management intended for community and value protection from wildfire. Currently, there is a lack of consistency across Canada in the collection of data on fuel management effectiveness and best practices. The FMTT has determined that a national database would help address this information shortfall.
