The purpose of the field trials was to characterize the drop patterns of water and water-enhancing products from different aircraft types. FPInnovations was present at these field trials to document the operational considerations with water enhancing products. Information was gathered from air attack officers, pilots, researchers, and fire fighters to fully understand the extent of what needs to be considered when using water enhancing products.<\/p>\n<p>The report is restricted to the members of FPInnovations Wildfire Operations Research Advisory Group and CIFFC Aviation Committee.
