Researchers installed and operated a small-scale network of ten cameras placed on five towers in the Foothills Wildfire Management Area. We documented the performance, reliability, cost and the potential for implementation into Alberta&rsquo;s fire detection program. The trial ended in the fall of 2007.<\/p>\n<p>This was a directed research project and the results belong to the Government of Alberta.
