Abstract
The continued success of the portable tower detection system for the Chisholm Fire Lookout (2009) has lead Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development (ESRD) to consider using portable tower detection systems for other remote-area and blind-area monitoring locations. ESRD has asked FPInnovations to procure a second portable tower and outfit it with a smoke detection camera system.
