Abstract
Seven vendors joined a detection exercise from August 23 to 29, 2021 in Alberta, Canada. This exercise aimed to understand the efficacy of using optical imagery from existing cameras. All vendors were using AI / machine learning algorithms within their systems. Alberta Wildfire expects to have a better understanding of these detection systems and how they differ from each other.
