FPInnovations was invited to attend the Big Iron Heavy Equipment Workshop sponsored by the National Wildfire Coordinating Group, the Southwest Montana Wildland Fire Training center, the Northern Rockies Training Center and the Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center. Researchers attended to observe and learn about potential uses of this equipment for wildfire management and to identify potential research ideas.
